Location: Hybrid- 3 days in midtown office, 2 days optional remote

Next Level Strategies is hiring for a tech start-up in the staffing industry. The role is hybrid, including Tuesday-Thursdays onsite in an awesome office in Midtown Manhattan. Here are the details:
The HR Manager carries out all day-to-day activities of the HR and Payroll functions, with the role of enhancing the overall staff experience and providing strategic guidance and support to the leadership team. This is a strategic and tactical role with duties that include talent acquisition, culture-building, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, payroll, and compliance.
What you’ll do:
- Work with CEO, CFO and Management team to help build company culture.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
- Conduct investigations into employee relations issues, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Audit and run payroll, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Manage employee benefits programs through JustWorks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Communicate with employees about HR policies and programs.
- Track and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
What You’ll Need:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or 5-7 years equivalent HR Management (including experience as an HR Generalist).
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Work under pressure with changing priorities.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is highly preferred
- Experience in tech start-up environment is highly preferred
